We are Tracy and Peter, and our Bike Friday Tandem Twosday is The Pushmi-Pullyu. The three of us will soon be on an adventure in the Netherlands!
Right now, however, we are at our home in Eugene, Oregon, putting the final touches on our trip preparations (mostly of the “making big piles of stuff to pack” persuasion). Soon we will take the Pushmi-Pullyu apart and pack it into two suitcases for the drive to Portland. From there we’ll fly to Amsterdam on Sunday morning, via a stop in Newark Sunday afternoon, arriving in the Netherlands early Monday morning to meet Tracy’s uncle Dako and drive to his hometown of Oud-Ade, where we’ll be staying with Tracy’s grandparents.
Once in the Netherlands, our big adventure will be circumnavigating the IJsselmeer. Our first few days in the Netherlands will be spent acquiring maps and planning and showing off the Pushmi-Pullyu to family and friends.
